Cornelis Vleeskens, born in the Netherlands, is an Australian poet who writes using words and visual images or a mixture of the two. Vleeskens work is often elliptical and allusive and frequently draws on his Dutch heritage.
His previous books include The day the river, Treefrog Dreaming and The wider canvas. For many years he published Fling poetry and is famous for his many micro-publications which are highly valued by those who can locate them.
